Weekend Wind-Down Yin Yoga

Fri 3rd May, 2019
Fri 10th May, 2019
Fri 14th Jun, 2019

Soothe your body, mind and soul at the end of the week with a mindful, nurturing yoga practice.
Release tension, relieve stress, find solace from the hectic pace of modern life and the pressures or expectations
of work, family and social commitments.

This class is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience. We will take things slowly and mindfully, using
gentle movements to connect to our breath and come into our bodies. The practice leads on to restorative yin yoga
where we use longer holds in passive postures to allow for deep, gradual release at the connective tissue level.
This gives time and space for reflection, contemplation and cultivates receptivity while being deeply calming and
rejuvenating.

Practice will always include breath-work to soothe the mind and ease you into awareness. We close with savasana,
total relaxation which may be guided or held in nurturing quiet, to access a state of deep, nourishing rest.

Suitable for: Everyone and anyone. Students who are new to yoga will find Yin a
gentle enough style to follow along, and those with more yoga experience can go deeper into the mental, subtle
and meditative aspects of the practice.

Saturday / Sunday Flow Yoga

Sat 4th May, 2019
Sat 15th Jun, 2019

A delicious, energising morning flow yoga class to help you start your weekend feeling great. There’s no rush in
this 90 minute class. We find spaciousness in our bodies, minds and breath which in turn can help you find
spaciousness in your life. We explore breathwork (pranayama) to calm and revitalise. As we move we gradually build
heat and open our bodies where they may feel stuck or closed off.

There’s time to break down some more challenging postures giving you time to play with something new or work your
edge. And of course there’s time to slow down and sink in deep, before final relaxation (savasana).

Suitable for: Anyone with some yoga experience or a reasonable level of body
awareness and fitness. Great for students who have been practicing yoga for some time.

Yin Yoga & MFR Immersion Weekend with Becky Khalil

Fri 22nd March, 6pm-8.30pm, Sat 23rd & Sun 24th March, 10am-5pm

A delicious weekend to dive deep into the meditative and healing practice of yin yoga.  In this immersive weekend
you will learn the functional approach of yin yoga to complement each body which is beautifully unique and
bio-individual.  There will be nourishing masterclasses for enjoyment and experiential learning as well as workshops
with practical learning, theory and discussion.  No body is the same as another and yin yoga is an incredible style
of yoga that supports each body in its own shape and function to gain optimal benefit with the art of propping.

To go even deeper into understanding how and why the body works and doesn’t work as it does we will take a look at
the incredible connective tissue network of the body – fascia.  We will explore myofascial release ball techniques
that can humbly transform your practice.

If you are a student who would like to understand more or develop your yin yoga practice or a teacher who would like
to incorporate yin and myofascial release in your classes from a place of deeper understanding this weekend is
perfect.
