Weekend Wind-Down Yoga

Soothe your body, mind and soul at the end of the week with a mindful, nurturing yoga practice.
Release tension, relieve stress, find solace from the hectic pace of modern life and the pressures or expectations of work, family and social commitments.
This class is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience. We will take things slowly and mindfully, using gentle movements to connect to our breath and come into our bodies. The practice leads on to restorative yin yoga where we use longer holds in passive postures to allow for deep, gradual release at the connective tissue level. This gives time and space for reflection, contemplation and cultivates receptivity while being deeply calming and rejuvenating.
Practice will always include breath-work to soothe the mind and ease you into awareness. We close with savasana, total relaxation which may be guided or held in nurturing quiet, to access a state of deep, nourishing rest.
