To go even deeper into understanding how and why the body works and doesn’t work as it does we will take a look at the incredible connective tissue network of the body – fascia. We will explore myofascial release ball techniques that can humbly transform your practice.
If you are a student who would like to understand more or develop your yin yoga practice or a teacher who would like to incorporate yin and myofascial release in your classes from a place of deeper understanding this weekend is perfect.
All participants will receive a welcome bag including course materials to keep.
For yoga teachers this course provides contact hours of continuing education and you will receive a YACEP certificate.

Saturday 10am-5pm – Yin Yoga principles and practice:
Art of propping
Main principles of practice
Basic asana breakdown
Ball technique for MFR workshop
Theory in the morning and closing practice workshop in the afternoon
There will be a break for lunch each weekend day, which you can bring with you or go to eat at one of many local eateries nearby. Please note this is not a residential course.

About Becky Khalil – Shanti Atma Yoga
Becky Khalil is a ERYT 500 yoga teacher trainer who specialises in Yin Yoga and fascial studies. She is the Owner and Director of International Yin Yoga Teacher Training School, Shanti Atma Yoga.
Becky started teaching yoga on a rooftop in Guatemala as part of a women’s yoga collective while working in international development. After several years of working in development and yoga tourism she spent 1.5 years in India for 1.5 where she trained students on 200 & 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training courses and Yin Yoga. Becky now trains students all over the world in Yin Yoga and Yoga Related Continuing Education Programs.
Becky’s profound interest in the Eastern traditions and Western science of the body, fused with the functional approach to yoga and body movement, has driven her to study one on one with an acupuncturist and anatomist, as well as continuous studies in yoga, Traditional Chinese medicine, meditation and myo-fascial release. She particularly values her education in anatomy, physiology, and aromatherapy under the federation of holistic therapists (FHT).
